Job Summary
Seasonal Field Biologist responsible for conducting biological field investigations across the western United States, including habitat assessments, vegetation surveys, invasive plant identification, wildlife observations, wetland delineation, environmental compliance monitoring, and GPS-based data collection. The role involves extensive travel, overnight stays, and extended field rotations in remote locations, with field tasks requiring walking over varied terrain and physical exertion. Opportunities for promotion to full-time status based on project needs and performance. Lodging and per diem provided. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in natural resources and at least one year of related experience. Pay range is $34-$35 per hour (plus overtime).
