Job Summary
Seasonal field biologist supporting ERG's Natural Resources Team on projects across the western United States. Responsibilities include conducting habitat assessments, vegetation surveys, invasive plant identification, wildlife observations, wetland delineation, environmental compliance monitoring, and GPS-based data collection. Position requires extensive travel, overnight stays, and extended field rotations in remote locations; candidates should be comfortable hiking long distances and carrying field equipment. Demonstrates teamwork, effective communication, clear field notes, data presentation, and adaptability to varying field conditions; opportunities exist for promotion to full-time status based on project needs and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in natural resources (wildlife sciences, biology, zoology, botany, etc.)
- at least one year of directly related experience
