Job Summary
CSS Farms is seeking Seasonal Farm Workers to assist in the harvest of potatoes, performing general farm labor in preparation for harvest, including grading, cleaning, shipping, and other assigned duties. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions. Prior experience with large farm equipment, a valid driver's license, and minor maintenance skills are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Bend, walk, and work in all elements
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- May work nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience operating large farm equipment for cultivating, planting, and transporting potatoes
- A valid operators license, CDL is preferred
- Experience with minor maintenance of equipment and facilities
Additional Requirements
- Must complete the entire harvest season to be eligible for an end-of-season bonus
