Job Summary
Provide outstanding guest service in a Fairmont Gold lounge setting, upholding Fairmont Gold Standards while preparing and maintaining daily food offerings, including the honour bar and pantry. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining Fairmont Gold food displays, coordinating with Kitchen and In Room Dining to ensure high-quality food, ordering and controlling inventory, assisting with menu item selection for canapés and breakfast, and arriving guestroom warming per standards. Develop and maintain guest relationships and share Vancouver-area knowledge with guests. Collaborate with other departments, participate in team-building and incentive programs, and support various duties as assigned. This seasonal, part-time role requires previous food-handling and guest-service experience, Food Safe and Serving It Right certificates, English fluency (additional languages a plus), and Canadian work authorization. The position involves standing/walking for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 30 lbs, and flexibility to work 2–5 shifts per week across a season. Location is Vancouver, BC, Canada; on-site in-person work. Must be able to work in an unsupervised environment while maintaining Fairmont Gold standards.
Required Qualifications
