Job Summary
Greets patrons, presents menus, and takes beverage orders while serving snacks and collecting payments. Mixes cocktails, prepares appetizers, and garnishes drinks with fresh fruit. Cleans bars, utensils, and equipment, and maintains attractive bottle displays. Verifies customer identification, limits excessive drinking by arranging transportation, and balances cash receipts. Orders liquor and supplies, provides feedback on bar menus, and performs additional duties as requested. Requires Arizona liquor law knowledge, alcohol service certification, and POS computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Arizona State and Gila River Indian Community Liquor Laws
- Basic Level Alcohol Service Training Certification
- Computer skills in the use of POS equipment
- Must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance and adhere to Rawhide dress code at all times
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Possess strong customer service and professional etiquette skills
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to multitask, be a self-starter, and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
