Seasonal Dock Hand at Westbrook, CT (April through October)

Seasonal/temporary Dock Hand position with Freedom Boat Club in Westbrook, CT. As part of a customer-focused team by the water, you will greet guests, manage check-in/check-out on a handheld tablet, perform equipment checks, and maintain vessels and the Club location according to standards. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, addressing service needs, thanking guests, handling reservations and weather reports, ensuring safety policies are followed, and performing other duties as requested by supervisors. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, stand for extended periods outdoors, and carry up to 25 pounds. Required: pass a background check and drug screen, have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and be at least 18 years old. Preferred: experience in or around boats, strong communication and customer service skills, and a positive, cooperative attitude with the ability to work unsupervised. Work outdoors in marina conditions and wear a professional uniform and appearance.
