Job Summary
Conduct daily customer service and retail stock operations at Nordstrom Rack, ensuring the sales floor remains runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening. Assist customers with cashiering transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms while operating point-of-sale systems and handling bulky merchandise. Support the fitting room experience by greeting guests, sorting clothing, and returning items to the floor. Maintain organized stockrooms by receiving freight, unloading, ticketing merchandise, and fulfilling customer orders with quality packing standards. Utilize inventory management systems to process shipments and adhere to asset protection protocols. Perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours, lifting items up to 25 pounds occasionally, within a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications

- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms (in-store, online and mobile)
- Operating a point-of-sale system
- Bagging items of all size
- Handling bulky sometimes heavy items including boxes

- Greeting and assisting customers

- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer's orders following quality, packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
