Job Summary
Maintain facility standards and assist in general cleaning at Radio City during overnight shifts, including sweeping floors, cleaning spills, dumping garbage, and restroom upkeep during events. Handle facility equipment of varying sizes and weights, receive deliveries, and perform additional duties as assigned. Ensure MSG standards are met and exceeded while adhering to appearance guidelines in a loud, everchanging visual environment. This seasonal position runs from 10pm to 6am, 11pm to 7am, or 12am to 8am on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, requiring the ability to lift 50lbs, climb stairs, and work in inclement weather. Pay is $19.52 USD.
Required Qualifications
- custodial experience at an entertainment venue or large commercial property
- high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
- ability to work with various operating groups
- ability to work overnight shifts (10pm-6am, 11pm-7am, 12am-8am) on weekdays, and must be available on weekends and holidays
- ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- ability to walk and stand during the entire shift
- receptiveness to working outside in inclement weather and extreme temperatures
- ability to climb and descend multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment or supplies
- ability to work within an environment with loud noises and everchanging visuals
- ability to stand and move about the theater throughout the duration of the shift
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment
