Job Summary
Maintain Radio City's interior and exterior facility standards by sweeping floors, cleaning spills, managing garbage, and upkeeping restrooms during events. Handle facility equipment of varying sizes, receive deliveries, and perform additional duties as assigned. Ensure MSG standards are met and exceeded while adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines. Work in a 24x7 environment with loud noises and everchanging visuals, requiring the ability to climb stairs, stand for extended shifts, and work outside in inclement weather. This seasonal role runs for the duration of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- custodial experience at an entertainment venue or large commercial property
- high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
- ability to work with various operating groups
- Must possess the ability to handle facility equipment of different size and weights
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- Able to walk and stand during the entire shift
- Must be receptive to working outside in inclement weather and extreme temperatures
- Ability to climb and descend multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment or supplies
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment
