Job Summary
Conduct cross-country ski lessons in accordance with established curriculum and training to support public understanding of winter outdoor recreation, foster environmental stewardship, and encourage utilization of Park District facilities. Work with diverse middle and high school-aged youth while applying knowledge of current recreational trends and teaching techniques. Starting range is $20.00 - $22.65/hour. This seasonal role is open until filled at multiple locations within the Twin Cities area. All seasonal employees receive a free Recreation Activity Pass.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- at least two seasons of experience
- related training
- Bachelor's degree in outdoor recreation or related fields
- education and experience equivalent to the degree
- Working knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of current recreational trends, activities, and teaching techniques
- Experience with and knowledge of working cross culturally
- working with diverse middle and high school aged youth
Desired Qualifications
