Job Summary
Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient physical and emotional needs through direct and indirect care. Place orders, receive and stock department supplies, and assist support staff with filing medical records and assigned daily tasks. Requires English literacy, basic computer skills, and current EMT or Paramedic license with IV certification. Full-time position offers $400/month housing stipend for Summit County residents. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Colorado Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or A-EMT or EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license
- IV certification required upon hire
- Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year healthcare experience (pre-hospital, ED and/or patient care)
- relevant certifications or experience as a Critical Care Tech, CNA, or medical assistant, ideally in an acute care setting
- demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of empathetically interacting with patients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
