Seasonal Critical Care Tech

Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient physical and emotional needs. Place orders, receive and stock department supplies, and assist support staff with filing, medical records, and assigned daily tasks. Perform technical tasks such as IV insertion, splinting, and wound care as directed by the RN or physician. Communicate with RN and Physician regarding patient/family observations and concerns regarding hazards or errors. Accurately and timely document all tasks, observations, and procedures performed on the patient record according to medical and legal standards. Maintain thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records. Demonstrate effective use of clinical strategies to ensure patient and associate safety. Collaborate with medicine, nursing, and other healthcare professionals regarding the plan of care, follow-up, and evaluation for the patient and family.
