Seasonal Counter and Scale Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct front counter service by waiting on customers, answering phones, and resolving complaints while maintaining a professional tone. Weigh and probe grain trucks, test grain, and input all transactions into the Point of Scale and Point of Sale systems. Balance cash drawers and daily deposits, monitor fuel inventory, and file grain settlement sheets as assigned. Requires working knowledge of both software systems and seed, feed, and fuel products. Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and handle emotional customers productively. High school degree with two years of college-level accounting or equivalent experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Current knowledge of Point of Sale and Point of Scale software
- Knowledge of seed, feed, and fuel products and store inventory
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Must be accurate and detail oriented
- Computer and data entry skills
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Ability to deal with emotional customers and help resolve complaints
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
