Job Summary
Conduct front counter sales, weigh and probe grain trucks, test grain, and input transactions into Point of Sale and Point of Scale systems. Balance cash drawers and deposits daily, monitor fuel inventory at card-trol locations, and file grain settlement sheets. Wait on walk-in customers and answer incoming calls promptly, resolving problems and reporting unresolved issues to management. Maintain a positive attitude to optimize market share and provide outstanding customer service while working in climate-controlled offices or outside in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Current knowledge of Point of Sale and Point of Scale software
- Knowledge of seed, feed, and fuel products and store inventory
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Must be accurate and detail oriented
- Computer and data entry skills
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Ability to deal with emotional customers and help resolve complaints
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
