Job Summary
Conduct front counter service by answering phones, weighing and probing grain trucks, testing grain, and entering sales transactions into the Point of Scale and Point of Sale systems. Balance cash drawers and daily deposits, monitor fuel inventory at card-trol locations, and file grain settlement sheets. Resolve customer complaints and report unresolved issues to management while maintaining a professional demeanor. Requires a high school degree with two years of college-level accounting experience or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Includes seasonal hours with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Current knowledge of Point of Sale and Point of Scale software
- Knowledge of seed, feed, and fuel products and store inventory
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Must be accurate and detail oriented
- Computer and data entry skills
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Ability to deal with emotional customers and help resolve complaints
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
