Job Summary
Seasonal Cook at Stew Leonard’s who prepares high-quality food items by following established recipes and procedures, assists with outdoor grilling for customers, and rotates products on display. Responsibilities include following recipes, cooking and grilling for customers, inventory prep, maintaining health and safety standards, and supporting team while providing strong customer service. Requires ability to lift up to 70lbs, 18+ years old, and 1–3 years of food experience; preferred; current Culinary Arts student or graduate. Availability mid-shifts 10am-6pm and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience
- Current Culinary Arts student or graduate, preferred
- Knowledge on food preparation
- Safely use/operate knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machine, steamers, mixers, and all other equipment required in the day to day operation of the kitchen
- Excellent customer service
- Being able to lift up to 70lbs.
- Good oral communication skills
