Seasonal Cook at Ocean Surf and Ocean Sands in York Beach, Maine. Responsibilities include preparing food following recipe cards and production standards, cooking menu items with kitchen staff, adhering to brand and Colwen standards, following Executive or Sous Chef instructions, ensuring timely and high-quality dishes, labeling and rotating stored food per safety standards, maintaining proper time/temperature, complying with health and safety codes, assisting with dishwashing and other kitchen duties, checking par levels, noting shortages, operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, assisting with prep for the next shift, and aiding in end-of-shift cleanup. Qualifications include excellent verbal and written communication, basic sanitation/food handling knowledge, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, teamwork, and reliability. ServSafe/Safe Food Handling certification is required by the individual property.
