Job Summary
Seasonal Color Program Assistant responsible for assisting with yard prep for seasonal color deliveries, preparing and caring for plant materials, tracking inventory and tools, receiving and organizing deliveries, pre-loading materials for installations, laying out plant materials onsite for crews, performing installations with crews with emphasis on quality and safety, monitoring irrigation needs, executing plant replacements and installation adjustments, assisting with holiday decor prep, collaborating with the Seasonal Color Manager on program development, and supporting the garden care team during non-install periods.
Required Qualifications
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 3 years in a hands-on horticultural industry role related to landscape installations and care of herbaceous plants
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outside in all weather conditions
- Strong organizational systems
- Ability to accurately and calmly handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Verbal and written fluency in the English language
- Irrigation program knowledge (preferred)
- Certificate or College Degree in horticulture/landscape program (preferred)
