Job Summary
Deliver, service, and install bulk and non-bulk propane, equipment, and miscellaneous materials to customers in an assigned territory while assisting with general water system maintenance and repairs. Operate assigned vehicles in accordance with company policies and comply with federal, state, and local codes for safe commercial motor vehicle operations. Handle delivery schedules with multiple daily stops, resolve customer inquiries, and maintain professionalism regarding equipment and property security. Ensure all required paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted to the supervisor by end of business day. Maintain a valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements and attend all safety meetings and training. Schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional weekends, on-call shifts, and extended hours during the October to March busy season.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Maintain a valid CDL driver's license with appropriate endorsements
- Have knowledge and understanding of the Federal and State DOT rules and regulations
- Have general mechanical abilities
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
- Ability to provide excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to read maps and have a good knowledge of geographical area
- Regular attendance at the worksite is required
