Job Summary
Seasonal Catering Server I at Canterbury Park provides hospitality at catered events, serves food and beverages, and supports event operations. Responsibilities include setting up and tearing down buffets and service stations, replenishing food with the culinary team, maintaining professional conduct, fostering teamwork, and ensuring excellent guest service during events. Requires 1+ years Catering/Events experience (or equivalent), ability to pass background checks and obtain Minnesota Racing Commission license, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 1 years or more of experience in Catering and Events or related field; OR any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been achieved.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Providing exceptional service to our guests during events.
- Must be willing to pitch in with other departments based on business need.
- Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to pass Canterbury Park’s pre-employment screening which includes a criminal background check and verification of work history.
- Must be able to attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license.
