Job Summary
Seasonal Cashier at Lowe's in Sterling Heights, MI. Responsibilities include delivering SMART customer service in line with Lowe's policies, assisting customers in locating and selecting merchandise, guiding customers through projects, addressing questions about stock, special orders, warranties, and related programs, processing invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs in the Tool Rental Department, cross-training in other store areas to enhance service, maintaining store safety and cleanliness, and adhering to safety procedures while operating various store equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
