Job Summary
Seasonal Cashier at Lowe's responsible for delivering SMART customer service through Lowe's policies and programs, assisting customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise; answering questions and guiding customers to product areas; preparing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs; cross-training in other store areas to ensure top-tier service; maintaining store cleanliness and safety; detecting theft risks and reporting to management; operating store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, copiers, CCTV); complying with safety standards and zone recovery practices.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
