Job Summary
Seasonal Cashier duties at Lowe's involve delivering SMART customer service according to Lowe's customer service policies, assisting customers in locating and selecting merchandise, handling quotes and invoices for tool rentals and repairs, cross-training in other store areas, detecting security risks, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and operating various store equipment. The role emphasizes helping customers understand product features, warranties, and program benefits, while ensuring safe, organized, and compliant store operation. The position requires basic computer and retail tech experience and prior retail customer-service tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
