Job Summary
Seasonal Cashier at Lowe's in Anniston, AL performing customer service per Lowe's policies, assisting customers in locating and selecting merchandise, handling invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs in the Tool Rental Department, cross-training in other store areas, detecting shoplifting and security risks, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and operating store equipment as needed. The role emphasizes helping customers understand product features, warranties, and stock information, while adhering to safety and zone-recovery standards and supporting overall store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
