Job Summary
Seasonal Cashier at Lowe's focused on delivering SMART customer service and assisting customers with locating, demonstrating, selecting, and loading merchandise. Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries about stock and Lowe’s programs, writing customer contracts and invoices for tool rentals and repairs, cross-training in other store areas, detecting shoplifting and security risks, maintaining housekeeping and safety standards, and operating store equipment as needed to support customer service and sales. Strong emphasis on understanding product features, warranties, and services, and providing accurate information to customers while upholding Lowe’s policies. The role supports a high-volume retail environment with a commitment to equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
