Job Summary
Seasonal Cashier role at Lowe's focusing on delivering SMART customer service per Lowe's policies, assisting customers with locating and selecting merchandise, processing contracts and invoices for tool rentals and repairs, cross-training in store areas, and maintaining safety and security standards. Responsibilities include guiding customers through products and warranties, answering questions, handling stock information and zone recovery, operating store equipment and technology (e.g., Zebra phone, POS, computers), and supporting loss prevention and housekeeping to ensure a safe, organized shopping environment.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
