Job Summary
Seasonal cashier at Lowe's responsible for delivering SMART customer service in accordance with Lowe's policies, assisting customers in locating and selecting merchandise, processing sales and tool rentals, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and supporting loss prevention efforts. The role involves interacting with customers to understand needs, explaining product features and warranties, generating invoices, handling equipment rentals, and collaborating with other store departments to provide a high level of service. Candidates should be comfortable using basic computer and retail technology and able to work a seasonal schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
