Job Summary

Seasonal Cashier at Lowe's focuses on delivering SMART customer service, assisting customers in locating and selecting merchandise, processing contracts and invoices for tool rentals and repairs, and maintaining store safety and cleanliness. Key duties include proactively engaging customers to understand needs, guiding them to products, communicating warranty and program information, handling transactions and invoices, supporting other store areas, and monitoring for safety and security. Required capabilities include basic computer use, familiarity with basic retail tech (smartphones/tablets), prior retail experience in selling and customer service, ability to learn product features and warranties, and willingness to obtain any applicable sales licensure. Required Qualifications

  • Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
  • Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
  • Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
