Job Summary
Seasonal cashier role at Lowe's in Gonzales, LA requiring exceptional customer service and knowledge of Lowe's programs. Responsibilities include seeking out customers, helping locate and demonstrate merchandise, guiding through projects, answering questions about stock, special orders, warranties, and related information; processing contracts and invoices for tool rentals and repairs; cross-training in other store areas; monitoring for theft and security risks; maintaining store cleanliness and safety; operating store equipment as needed; and contributing to a positive shopping experience by building customer relationships and communicating product benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
