Job Summary
Seasonal Cashier at Lowe’s focuses on delivering SMART customer service per Lowe’s policies, assisting customers in locating and loading merchandise, answering questions about stock, special orders, warranties, and related programs, processing customer contracts and invoices for tool rentals and repairs, and participating in cross-functional training to ensure top-tier customer service. The role emphasizes early engagement with customers, accurate product knowledge, security awareness, adherence to safety and housekeeping standards, store equipment operation as needed, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
