Job Summary
Provide professional, courteous, and efficient presentation of food and beverage service to all guests. Clean and set up tables, serve water, bread, and coffee, and greet guests by name. Stack trays properly for efficient unloading and ensure proper safety standards. Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, breaking down equipment, cleaning all areas, returning items to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking, turning off lights, and completing the daily cleaning checklist. Inspect china, glass, and silver prior to use and maintain cleanliness throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures. Follow all company and safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training. Maintain a clean and professional uniform appearance while developing positive working relationships with the team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
