Seasonal Bio-Security Specialist (Temp Position)

Job Summary
Bio-Surveillance Specialist responsible for engaging with international travelers to voluntarily collect swabs and participate in wastewater sampling to support CDC pathogen surveillance. Responsibilities include greeting passengers, maintaining professionalism, collecting flight wastewater samples, collaborating with management and staff, attending team trainings, and adhering to station regulations and strict hygiene standards. Must ensure participant confidentiality and support the health-and-safety procedures, while keeping the station orderly. Required skills include excellent communication, strong organizational/multitasking abilities, and comfort with flexible hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays). Minimum 1-2 years of customer-facing experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred; knowledge of HIPAA is a plus.
