Job Summary
Seasonal Behavioral Technician to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center in Sussex County, NJ. Responsibilities include providing non-physical emotional and behavioral support, ensuring safety, implementing strategies from each child’s Individual Support Plan, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection strategies for behavior, submitting visit notes, responding to crises with de-escalation and safety measures, engaging clients in activities to support growth, attending case reviews and trainings, and following agency protocols. Requires NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months, pursuit of RBT certification within 6 months, bilingual (Spanish) encouraged, valid NJ driver’s license, ability to commit at least 3 months, and authorization to work in the U.S. Sign-on bonus of $300. Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
