Job Summary
Seasonal Behavioral Technician position focused on in-home, in-community, and in-center support for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Mercer County, NJ. Responsibilities include providing non-physical, emotional and behavioral support; ensuring client safety and well-being; implementing Individual Support Plans; conducting functional assessments (ADLs); using redirection strategies for behavior management; submitting visit notes in compliance with guidelines; responding to crises with de-escalation and safety strategies; engaging clients in activities to promote growth; attending case reviews, team meetings, and trainings; following all agency protocols. Requires authorization to work in the U.S., NJ CSOC Certification within 6 months, pursuing RBT Certification within 6 months, valid NJ driver's license, background checks, and drug screening. Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged. Minimum three-month commitment; $300 sign-on bonus available in Cumberland County; schedule typically evenings with 2–4 hour shifts and 5–20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Must be willing and able to commit to the position for a minimum of three (3) months
- Pathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey Guidelines: RBT/BACB experience or HS Diploma with supervised experience (as applicable)
