Seasonal Behavioral Technician (Hunterdon County, NJ) – $300 Sign-on Bonus

Seasonal Behavioral Technician to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Positions typically offer 5–20 hours per week with 2–4 hour evening shifts. Responsibilities include providing non-physical, emotional and behavioral support, ensuring client safety, implementing Individual Support Plans, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection strategies for behavioral concerns, submitting visit notes, responding to crises with de-escalation strategies, engaging clients in growth-oriented activities, attending case reviews and trainings, and following agency protocols. Skills emphasized include active listening, emotional intelligence, leadership, patience, verbal and written communication, organization, independent and collaborative work, and familiarity with evidence-based approaches for developmental disabilities.
