Job Summary

Seasonal Behavioral Technician to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center in Hudson County, NJ. Roles include non-physical emotional and behavioral support, implementing Individual Support Plans, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection strategies, submitting notes, responding to crises, engaging clients in activities, and attending case reviews and trainings. Requires NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months, pursuit of RBT certification within 6 months, valid NJ driver's license, background checks, and willingness to commit at least 3 months. Bilingual Spanish encouraged; sign-on bonus of $300 in Cumberland County. Hours typically 5–20 per week with 2–4 hour evening shifts; benefits include PTO/Sick Time, health coverage options, 401K, and ongoing training.

Required Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
  • Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
  • Must pass all state and federal background checks
  • Pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Must be willing and able to commit to a minimum of three (3) months
