Job Summary
Seasonal Behavioral Technician to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center; schedules typically 5–20 hours per week with 2–4 hour evening shifts; duties include providing non-physical emotional and behavioral support, implementing individual support plans, conducting ADLs, utilizing redirection and de-escalation strategies, maintaining timely visit notes, attending case reviews and trainings, and ensuring client safety; requires NJ CSOC Certification within 6 months, pursuit of RBT Certification within 6 months, valid NJ driver’s license, background checks, and successful drug screening; bilingual Spanish encouraged; $300 sign-on bonus with phased payout; minimum commitment of three months.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
- Must be willing and able to commit to the position for a minimum of three (3) months
- If RBT: one year of supervised experience or related education requirements per BACB guidelines
