Job Summary
Seasonal Behavioral Technician to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center settings for Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare. Responsibilities include providing non-physical, emotional and behavioral support; ensuring client safety and well-being; implementing strategies from Individual Support Plans; conducting functional assessments (including ADLs); using redirection strategies for behavioral concerns; submitting visit notes per guidelines; responding to crises with de-escalation and safety measures; engaging clients in activities to support growth and awareness; attending case reviews, team meetings, and trainings; following agency protocols and professional guidelines. Requirements include authorization to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship, NJ CSOC Certification within 6 months, pursuit of RBT Certification within 6 months, valid NJ driver's license, ability to pass background checks and drug screen, willingness to commit at least 3 months, and bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
- Willing to commit to the position for a minimum of three (3) months
- Pathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey Guidelines: RBT/BACB supervised experience or higher education/degree as applicable
- Ability to observe, document, and communicate client progress and participate in trainings
