Job Summary
Seasonal Behavioral Technician needed to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center in Camden County, NJ. Typical work is 5–20 hours per week with 2–4 hour evening shifts. Responsibilities include providing non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support; ensuring client safety; implementing Individual Support Plans; conducting functional assessments including ADLs; using redirection strategies; timely submission of visit notes; crisis de-escalation; engaging clients in activities for growth; attending case reviews and trainings; following agency protocols and guidelines. Requires NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months, pursuit of RBT certification within 6 months, valid NJ driver’s license, ability to pass background checks and drug screen, and a minimum three-month commitment. Bilingual (Spanish) encouraged. Sign-on bonus of $300 offered; location is Camden County, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
- Commit to minimum of three (3) months
