Job Summary
Seasonal Behavioral Technician responsible for providing non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center settings. Duties include implementing Individual Support Plans, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection strategies for behavioral concerns, submitting visit notes, responding to crises with de-escalation, engaging clients in growth-focused activities, attending case reviews and trainings, and following agency protocols. Requires NJ residency, authorization to work in the U.S., driver’s license, background checks, and pursuit of RBT/BACB-related certifications within 6 months; bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged. Schedule typically evenings with 2–4 hour shifts, 5–20 hours per week, and a minimum three-month commitment, with a $300 sign-on bonus offered in Cumberland County.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Must be willing and able to commit to the position for a minimum of three (3) months.
