Job Summary
Prepares and serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and mixed drinks, according to standard and house recipes. Greets customers, takes drink orders, and provides friendly, prompt service while engaging with guests to answer questions and make recommendations. Fulfills service bar tickets from servers, handles cash transactions, and processes payments accurately. Monitors customer alcohol consumption to prevent overconsumption or underage drinking and adheres to state alcohol service regulations. Maintains cleanliness of the bar area, ensures proper equipment function, and follows safety guidelines. Sets up and breaks down event bars for assigned functions and collaborates with the Culinary team on menu and special request items.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2+ years of experience in Bartending or a related field
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ohio law (ORC 4301.22) requires employees pouring drinks and serving liquor and/or wine over a bar attain a minimum age of 21 years
