Job Summary
Prepare food and beverage offerings, set up the service area, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining, and guest zones during your shift. Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a friendly greeting, answer menu questions, and deliver food, beverages, and condiments while ensuring all products meet specifications. Adhere to food safety regulations, HAACP guidelines, and brand standards for Colwen Hotels, including state liquor policies. Clear tables as guests finish meals, set tables to standards, and notify management of any product issues. Maintain knowledge of guest rooms, amenities, and services, plus work rotational schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to solve problems
- Basic understanding of/or ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to maintain personal hygiene
- Willingness to work rotational work schedule, including early mornings and/or nights, weekends and holidays
