Job Summary
Seasonal Associate at Belk (Parkway Place, Huntsville, AL). You’ll contribute to a positive shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and supporting store operations. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, assisting with store fulfillment, curbside pickup, pricing and merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining signage and cleanliness. You’ll stay informed on products, promotions, and policies, work with teammates to meet store goals, and adapt to a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer engagement, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment. We welcome candidates 16 years and older who are eager to develop skills in sales, service, and store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers
- Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 50 lbs.
- Demonstrates dedication to customer service and a drive to achieve store objectives
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to store success
- Comfortable with technology, including smart phones, tablet computers and Windows-based operating systems
- Knowledge of products, promotions, policies, and store events to deliver accurate information to customers
