Job Summary
Seasonal retail position at Belk in Danville, VA, involving customer service, sales support, and store-operations tasks across sales, support, fragrances, and store fulfillment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, assisting with inquiries/returns, curbside pickup, product processing and placement, visual merchandising, maintaining signage and cleanliness, staying informed on promotions and policies, and contributing to a positive store culture. Required Qualifications
- Dedication to customer service and a drive to achieve store objectives
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to store success
- Comfortable with technology, including smart phones, tablet computers and Windows-based operating systems
- Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers
- Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 50 lbs
- Must be 16 years or older
