Job Summary
Monitor and direct personnel including foremen, leads, forklift operators, and general labor to conduct role calls and maintain adequate staffing for warehouse operations. Ensure accurate loading of trucks, sea containers, intermodal, and railcars while managing inventory control systems and associated documentation for case goods, drums, and bins. Develop and maintain processes to ensure orders are fulfilled timely within budget at the TomaTek plant in Firebaugh, CA during the fresh pack season from June to October. Requires a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work extended hours, weekends, and any shift assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics/warehousing or a closely related field; or any combination of knowledge, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the position
- Ability to supervise and effectively communicate with employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to work extended hours
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October
