Job Summary
Lead the team to meet and exceed daily and weekly goals for sales, attendance, guest satisfaction, and safety. Assist in planning, executing, and managing budgets for meetings and special events, including seamless turnover between sales and operations. Conduct daily walk-throughs of banquet floors to promote client satisfaction and quality standards. Research competitor products and pricing, manage merchandise inventory, and establish vendor agreements to increase revenue. Train employees on event software systems, interview and select staff, and conduct annual performance appraisals. Handle guest complaints and obtain feedback to drive continuous service improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in hospitality, event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in hospitality, or related major
- 1 year experience in hospitality, event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or a comparable professional area
