Job Summary
Deliver a high standard of hospitality service across F&B, retail, room, and spa programs while assisting the Lodge Manager as the primary point of contact for guests. Support performance management by setting expectations, providing feedback, and coaching staff to build a motivated team. Maintain accurate guest records, reconcile charges, and monitor inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency. Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve financial goals and coordinate compassionate support for injured or ill guests. Manage staff schedules, process payroll, and foster a safe, inclusive environment while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced remote setting. Work two weeks on and one week off during the November to May and July to September operating season.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in hospitality, travel and tourism, or equivalent work experience
- Food Safe Certificate
- Occupational First Aid Level 1, or equivalent
- BC Serving-it-Right
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry
- Previous experience in entry-management
- Experience in Point of Sale
- Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a regular basis
- Ability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business
- Ability to find their own way to and from the lodge or helicopter staging area, which includes travel on logging roads
- Ability to travel to and from the lodge or helicopter staging area
- Ability to travel to and from the lodge or helicopter staging area for company meetings and workshops
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly learn other relevant software platforms
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating seasonal workloads and changing priorities
- Ability to interact with all levels of the company, including those in remote locations within a hub-and-spoke model
- Ability to navigate complex responsibilities
- Ability to accept new responsibilities and potentially transfer others
Desired Qualifications
