Job Summary
Complete inbound and outbound trailer logs, common carrier logs, and discrepancy reports. Maintain access control for all individuals entering and exiting the facility, respond to alarm systems, and conduct audits on common carriers. Monitor associate activities, visitors, and truckers while enforcing all facility rules and regulations. Respond to building emergencies, operate power equipment and CCTV, and foster an environment of acceptance and respect. This full-time position requires heavy lifting, constant standing, and working flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- PC Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in completing trailer logs, common carrier logs, and discrepancy reports
- Alarm Response: Quick, appropriate responses to alarm systems and building emergencies
- Regulation Enforcement: Strong understanding of facility rules and regulations
- Technical Proficiency: Operation of power equipment, CCTV, and handheld technology
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues during audits, emergencies, or general monitoring
- Teamwork & Independence: Resourceful self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating with teams
- Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, such as safety rules and procedural manuals
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, kneeling, crouching, and climb ladders
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Priority security experience in a distribution center environment
