Job Summary
Provide animals with food, water, enrichment, and essential daily needs while maintaining clean housing per high standards. Conduct initial exams and vaccinations for intake animals, administer medical treatments under veterinary direction, and maintain detailed records in animal management software. Commit to a welcoming, supportive approach with all clients and coworkers. Work onsite at the Ozaukee Campus during evenings, consistent weekend shifts, and holidays. Lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions as required. Prior animal care experience is a plus; bilingual candidates are encouraged.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to navigate emotional aspects of animal welfare work
- Availability to work evenings, a consistent weekend shift each week, and holidays
- Able to successfully meet the physical demands of the job, which include stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions
- Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
