Seasonal Aircraft Deicing Agents

Job Summary
Check aircraft for leading edge ice and frost, then apply Deice Fluid Type 1 or Type 4 to wings, fuselage, and tail. Drive large, heavy vehicles around aircraft during operations while operating a headset and radio to coordinate with ground, flight, and dispatch crews. Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles, and maintain accurate accounting of deicing fluid transactions. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heights up to 40 feet, while complying with all safety procedures and protocols. This seasonal role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate changing airline demands and involves lifting and moving up to 70 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess/Maintain a valid Driver's License
- other FAA Airport required identifications/seals or authorizations
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to work at heights up to forty (40) feet
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Able to continually lift push/move 70 lbs
